We are seeking a dedicated and talented Financial Analyst/Comptroller to join our team. This role is a vital part of our firm's financial operations, playing a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring project profitability, and contributing to the growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day invoicing and billing operations using Ajera by Deltek, our specialized billing software for architects and engineering firms.

• Handle payment processing for office expenses, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

• Prepare financial reports, analyses, and projections to facilitate informed decision-making by the management team.

• Collaborate closely with project managers to monitor project financials, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and ensure profitability.

• Manage and review our 3rd party payroll service vendor including transmitting bi-weekly time sheets and review of final employee pay stubs.

• Monitor and track employee PTO accrual and usage.

• Assist our 3rd party 401k plan administrator to ensure accurate withholdings and deposits and employee enrollment.

• Prepare reports as required by annual insurance audits.

• Act as initial POC for employment benefits provider vendors and assist employees with enrollment.

• Assist new employees or terminated employees with the necessary respective onboarding or existing paperwork.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of financial trends and dynamics within the design and construction market.

• Utilize financial software and Excel to maintain accurate financial records and streamline financial processes.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal financial procedures and controls.

• Assist in general office management tasks as needed, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors, embodying our firm's strong communication culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, bookkeeping, or related roles, with a focus on project-based financial management.

• Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and similar tools. Experience with Ajera by Deltek or similar billing software is preferred.

• Strong understanding of financial principles and practices within the design and construction industry.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across various teams.

• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
