SUMMARY
MP provided MEP design for Southern Tire Mart's 38,000 sq. ft. Corporate Office located in Columbia, MS. The office building consisted of multiple offices, a 24 hour call center, large IT rooms, heated and cooled garages, open office areas, and multiple gang and private restrooms.
The space was heated and cooled using air cooled chillers, V AV air handlers, and VAV boxes. The 24 hour call center was fully redundant with a backup DX unit for emergency operation. The design also incorporated a boiler system to provide hot water and domestic hot water to the building. The IT room was equipped with redundant in rack cooler units.
