Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT & Network Technician to manage and maintain our internal IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about providing responsive, hands-on support to a team of engineers, architects, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot internal networks, servers, and workstations (Windows-based environment)

• Provide on-site technical support to staff for hardware, software, and connectivity issues

• Oversee cybersecurity best practices and monitor systems for vulnerabilities

• Manage and maintain backup systems and disaster recovery protocols

• Handle equipment setup for new hires, including imaging, configuration, and account creation

• Coordinate with external vendors and software providers for escalated issues or service requests

• Maintain documentation for IT procedures, systems configurations, and support logs

• Assist with software license management, updates, and compliance

• Support A/V setup for internal meetings and presentations

• Contribute to IT strategy and recommend system improvements

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support and network management experience

• Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and common office software

• Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls), preferably in a small- to mid-sized business environment

• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced, design-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, etc.)

• Familiarity with cloud-based file storage and collaboration tools

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, A+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
