About the Role

MP Design Group is seeking a Civil Engineer to support site development, municipal, and infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction. This role is ideal for an engineer who wants meaningful project ownership and hands-on involvement throughout the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil design plans for site development, municipal, and infrastructure projects

• Design grading, drainage, utility, and roadway improvements

• Perform hydrology/hydraulic calculations and stormwater analysis

• Prepare construction documents using Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, surveyors, and owners

• Assist with permitting and agency coordination

• Respond to RFIs, submittals, and construction-phase questions

• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• 4+ years of civil/site design experience (land development and/or municipal projects preferred)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred) and AutoCAD

• Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and applicable design standards/codes

• Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling and stormwater design is a plus

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• PE license preferred (or actively pursuing licensure)
